How to Gift Wrap a Wreath

Your wreath doesn’t need to be complicated! Keep it simple by letting nature take center stage! I prefer keeping mine unadorned so the greenery can shine through!

Start by starting with a wire wreath frame, using heavy painters drop cloth and attach it by tying, duct taping or stapleing to the frame.

Create a small bunch by hand and place it carefully onto the wire frame, just overlapping its first bunch. Secure with paddle wire.

Wrapping Paper

Making a wreath out of wrapping paper scraps is an ideal way to reuse any excess supplies while creating an eye-catching gift for yourself or someone special. All it requires is a wire coat hanger bent into a circle, some wrapping paper (tissue works too!), smoothed out before cutting it into strips. Once cut, start wrapping strips around your coat hanger using twist ties as your guide; continue this process until the entire coat hanger has been covered by wrapping strips. Trim any long strips, tie with braided twine and you have yourself an original present! You might just treat yourself! This makes the perfect present – or treat for yourself!

Make a festive wreath using any type of paper – from Christmas wrapping paper to birthday or wedding invitations! It’s an easy project that even kids can help with!

To create leaves, outline some leaf shapes on paper with a pencil, cut out each leaf shape and glue with tacky glue; I personally used glitter glue to give more natural and realistic veining effects – I did this when creating my wreath of green leaves.

This method is eco-friendly and does not require expensive materials – plus, the results look just as beautiful as store bought wreaths!

This gift wrap idea is simple and beautiful! A stunning alternative to traditional wreaths, it would look beautiful no matter the colour scheme or space available to you. Additionally, this option makes storage simple as it can easily be stored flat against walls or in cupboards.

An elegant gift wrapped this way will leave its recipient feeling truly special and loved, making any event more significant and memorable. Give this craft a try this holiday season; you are sure to impress family and friends alike.

Gift Tags

Add the perfect finishing touches to your wrapped gift with an eye-catching tag and pretty ribbon from our wide selection. Choose from festive colors and designs, such as modern calligraphy nestled within an olive wreath with space for writing in their recipient’s name!

Replace traditional red and green Christmas wrap and ribbon with more subtle colors such as pink and blue, matching embellishments to tags with each ribbon color, such as embellishments that match embellishments on tags – for instance, make snowflake gift tags by cutting three circles from white cardstock in various sizes and gluing them together before attaching a silver star sticker in each circle’s center.

Upcycle paper straws to create an adorable DIY star topper! Get gold eyelash cording from craft stores, overlap its ends, and glue gold metallic star die-cuts onto each end for extra dimension. Or hot-glue one of those simple star shapes directly to a ribbon bow!

Gift the recipient a musical surprise with this adorable tag made of sheet-music-patterned paper! Cut a round tag out and attach paper trees as well as jewel-studded rub-on letters – your recipient is sure to break out into song when she opens this package!

If the recipient loves nature, this gift topper could be perfect. Gather a sprig of evergreen, use needle-nose pliers to bend it into a wreath shape, tie coordinating ribbon around its base and adhere it securely onto a gift package.

Let your children help with this easy project if they are old enough! Simply purchase or cut out a laser-cut letter or cut one out yourself using cardstock, use a pom-pom maker to create yarn pom-poms from yarn, then hot-glue them onto the center of each letter with hot glue, add glitter if desired for an added personal touch and use hot glue to attach to each letter – the end result makes any gift memorable! Perfect as part of an Easter Basket gift set or just for everyday giving!

Ribbon

Wreaths have long been an enchanting decoration to bring joy and beauty into the home during holiday celebrations. While traditional wreaths typically use evergreen branches adorned with red bows as material for wreath creation, more and more people are opting to craft their own decorations using an assortment of materials – ribbon being one popular do-it-yourself option that offers endless color and style options suitable for any holiday or occasion.

To create a ribbon wreath, you’ll need a wire frame, ribbon and some way of hanging it from a bow or string. The length and type of ribbon will depend on how large and thick you want your wreath. A wire wreath frame makes for easy manipulation into any desired shape; burlap or linen ribbon could add rustic or natural charm as well.

Start by attaching a piece of ribbon to the back of your wreath form using floral wire, then start weaving it through its interior in whatever pattern or direction pleases you. Diagonally weaving can add an eye-catching element. As soon as the end comes near, cut or start over if necessary.

Once the first layer is complete, add another row. This will create a fuller wreath by pushing outward the first row further. When this second layer is complete, trim or begin adding third rows as necessary.

As soon as your wreath is complete, tie a bow or string around its top edge for hanging and it will be your festive creation! For added flair you could add holiday picks such as flowers or simply leave it plain.

As you wrap each strip of gift wrap around a styrofoam wreath form, tape it securely to the backside. Repeat this process until all parts of the wreath have been covered in gift wrap. Finally, embellish it by attaching ribbon for hanging or other elements that match those found in their home or office decor to ensure a harmonious presentation of this handmade wreath gift.

Floral Wire

Create your wreath from fresh greenery and flowers for an enduring holiday gift that will fill them with delight all year round. This festive wreath project can easily become a family craft to enjoy together!

Before beginning, gather your materials. These include bypass pruners or other sturdy hand shears, 22 gauge paddle wire, pliers or wire snips as pliers may also come in handy to make any adjustments and cut ties; alternatively you could create one from bent wire coat hanger or metal bucket!

Begin by placing your first bunch of greens onto the wire frame. Wrapping the wire around each stem 2-3 times will ensure secure and safe placement of this bunch. As you add additional bunches, be sure to wrap wire several times around each stem as well.

Once your collection of greens is in place, begin adding flowering stems. For hollow flowers such as ranunculus and anemones, either use shears to give their stem a slight twist, or insert their stem through your wreath hoop and give each one its own turn through the wire wreath hoop. Be sure to wrap each individual stem and hoop separately using multiple layers of wire; always wrap in different directions!

After adding your last bunch, take a step back and examine your wreath. Tuck any protruding branches back under. Additionally, some stems may need trimming down in order to achieve a balanced design.

Once your wreath is complete, use ribbon or twine to tie a bow for an added decorative flourish. Now it can be displayed, gifted as a present or displayed proudly on your front door! If using it as a present be sure to include a card bearing your own personal message!
